SAPinsider 2025: How AI & Data Integration are Shaping the Future

29/3/2025

SAPinsider is one of the premier conferences for SAP professionals, bringing together industry experts, partners, and customers to explore the latest trends, best practices, and innovations in the SAP ecosystem. The event serves as a key platform for networking, knowledge-sharing, and discovering new solutions that drive digital transformation. Last week, our team had the incredible opportunity to attend SAPinsider 2025 in Las Vegas, where we connected with partners, customers, and SAP experts. The event was filled with valuable insights, engaging discussions, and exciting innovations shaping the future of SAP integration. Here are some highlights.

Exploring AI at SAPinsider: The Growing Impact on SAP’s Future

As we walked around SAPinsider, it was impossible to ignore the growing buzz around AI. More and more booths highlighted AI as a key component of their solutions, signaling the increasing role of artificial intelligence in the SAP ecosystem. Several sessions also addressed this shift, including a notable one with Microsoft, where the future of SAP was discussed in the context of Business Data Connectivity (BDC) and AI.

AI is no longer just a buzzword; it’s actively transforming how enterprises leverage SAP. From streamlining operations to enhancing decision-making, AI’s integration into SAP solutions continues to gain momentum. The conversations at SAPinsider left us eager to explore what’s next as AI integration deepens within SAP solutions.

Customer Success Spotlight: Centuri Group’s Xtract Universal Use Case

One of the most rewarding moments at SAPinsider was hearing from Centuri Group about their success with Xtract Universal. We first met Centuri at SAPinsider last year when they attended our session, and they have since integrated Xtract Universal with Table CDC into their operations. This year, Centuri joined us on stage, bringing the story full circle!

During the session, a Centuri representative shared their experience, detailing how Xtract Universal enables both full and CDC (Change Data Capture) pulls, making SAP data extraction seamless and efficient. The interactive discussion sparked insightful questions from the audience, highlighting the growing demand for robust SAP data integration solutions.

As a result of hosting this session, our Technical Account Manager, Brian Smoot, encountered an attendee at another SAP session. After striking up a conversation, they discussed how beneficial our solution has been for Centuri, prompting the attendee to visit our booth for a technical demo — reinforcing the value of having customers share real-world use cases, and we truly appreciate Centuri’s continued support.

Clarifying Third-Party Integration and the SAP Note #3255746 on ODP: What SAP Customers Need to Know

During SAPinsider, several attendees inquired about third-party integration, expressing concern that SAP’s ODP Note #3255746 meant, they could only use SAP’s internal tools, such as Datasphere. We took the opportunity to clarify that the restriction applies only to ODP over RFC and explained how our solutions provide alternative methods unaffected by this policy.

We also highlighted that our third-party integrators are based on SAP-certified technology, which was also recently recertified. Many customers were unaware of this, so we were glad to have the opportunity to continue the conversation. For those interested, we’re hosted a webinar lately on the ODP note alternative solutions, and you can find the recording here.

Thank you SAPinsider!

Attending SAPinsider 2025 was an enriching experience for our team. We connected with longtime partners, met new faces, and gained valuable insights into the future of SAP. A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, attended our sessions, and engaged in meaningful discussions with us!

What’s next? SAP Data Integration with Microsoft Fabric OneLake and Open Mirroring

At SAPinsider, discussions about SAP integration with Microsoft Fabric took center stage. Many attendees were eager to learn how our solutions support enable seamless data integration with Fabric’s OneLake and Open Mirroring, offering enhanced flexibility and efficiency for SAP data management. It was exciting to see so much interest in how these technologies can work together to streamline and expand integration capabilities. If you want to learn more, we’ll be hosting a dedicated webinar on SAP data integration with Microsoft Fabric — register here.

We look forward to seeing what’s next in SAP integration and can’t wait to share more insights with you soon!
