CompuGroup Medical is a large company of over 9,000 employees across 19 countries who develop software products for medical and organizational activities. Their reach spans to doctors’ offices, pharmacies, laboratories, hospitals, social institutions, and even healthcare IT departments located across 60 different countries. Clients include doctors, dentists, pharmacists, healthcare professionals, insurance companies, and pharmaceutical companies.
Their financial platform CCH Tagetik was used for consolidated financial statements, monthly and quarterly reporting, data analysis, and budget planning. As this data resided in their SAP system, the data transfer was done manually via CSV data export once a month, taking approximately two hours.
As part of a project to modernize the IT landscape in the finance area in, CGM updated their financial platform CCH Tagetik and migrated their SAP system to SAP S/4HANA. Additionally, data transfer between systems was to be automated to reduce the manual effort. However, there was no built in connection between S/4HANA and CCH Tagetik.

Solution with Xtract Universal
To solve this problem, CGM turned to drjve, a consulting company specializing in BI and Corporate Performance Management. Seeing the flexible SAP interface capabilities provided by Xtract Universal, drjve made the recommendation to explore the solution.
drjve led the implementation and configuration of the interface between SAP S/4HANA and CCH Tagetik. The process took about three months from the initial install to implementation. This was primarily due to the complexity of the source and target systems and the concurrent transition to SAP S/4HANA.
